Help me get set up to pump acequia water

I’m an acequia parciante who recently was able to restore water rights. I can’t manage any kind of gravity feed for my little bit of land. I have an electric pump that was highly recommended for this use, and all the connectors, extension cord, etc, and theoretically I sort of have an idea how to put them together and get pumping. I have no experience, though. Do you have experience with this kind of pump use? Could you help me set up with confidence and get my apple trees some water? I don’t know when I’ll be given water, but for the set up and test we could briefly pump from the acequia right back into the acequia if necessary. Thank you!
