I am offering a sourdough workshop, I have an established starter fed only local organic wheat from Metate Mills. I am happy to teach a 2-3 hour 2 day course or a 2-3 hour one day fast track course with at home baking instructions.
This workshop would include a back to back 2 day course if you commit to the 2 day or a one day fast track course where you take your unbaked sourdough home, bulk ferment, shape and follow baking instructions provided. You will be sent home with a recipe, instructions and an established sourdough starter.
What will be taught - feeding sourdough, sourdough benefits, a few sourdough and discard recipes and learning srart to finish how to make a regular sourdough loaf of bread. Baking at elevation, structuring your bread with affirmations and seasons/different temperatures and how it affects your bread.
**If you are able, some supplies will be needed (an empty jar & for fast track bread you will need to bring a bowl with a lid) if you're unable to bring supplies, I am more than happy to provide them.
