The Lower Des Montes Neighborhood Association's spring roadside cleanup event is Saturday, May 16, 9 to noon. We're making this an Anchor Org Event this year, so come help pick up trash and earn some hours! We meet at the Arroyo Seco Folk Art gallery on Hondo-Seco Road, east (toward Seco) from the intersection with NM-230, around 9:00. (Note the official USPS address is in El Prado, if you're looking it up, but the physical location is Des Montes.)
Bring gloves and water and dress for walking around outside. Trash bags and safety vests provided.
The LDMNA officially cleans up NM-230, but we're happy to have folks collect roadside litter from Hondo-Seco road and other roads in the area too. Help us keep Des Montes clean and beautiful!
